What’s in it for you?

The killer question answered here.

  • 1. Ask you the right questions.

I ask the right questions, #1 being - who are we targeting and what matters to them? (Ok that’s 2 questions). I am genuinely interested in learning about your customers, your market and your company.

  • 2. It really is all about you.

I understand that you are the product/brand expert in our team and I’ll work with you to harvest all the ‘juice’. We’ll collaborate and co-create.

  • 3. I'll give you good advice.

I tell you what I think needs to be done, not what you want to hear - IMHO.

  • 4. I'll put on your t-shirt.

I ‘put on your t-shirt’ (not literally) and bat for your side. I want the work we do to be successful and that means supporting you come what may.

  • 5. I'll take ownership.

I work out priorities and get things done. I won’t need babysitting. We’ll work out rules of engagement. Then I’ll run with it, checking in with you on big decisions and progress.

  • 6. I'll take our plan and get it done.

Once the plan is done, I can implement most things myself but if it’s super specialised (like PPC or SEO) or there’s a lot of it, I have a skilled and like-minded gang of trusted people I work with, through me. Not like the holy ghost you understand…

  • 7. I aim high.

I work to a very high standard. Quality is very important to me and it’s what I am known for. I am all about substance (as well as style). I want to deliver a job I am proud of that moves you on.

  • 8. Fine words doth butter no parsnips.

I’ll tell you straight. This sometimes means we will disagree but it’ll be for the greater good. Like I say, it’s important for me to love what I do and this starts and ends with being honest and open.
